Payment Options & Financing
For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact the accounts manager at (734) 222-3636. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within two to three weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan (by an outside financing company, see below) but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.
Financing: Monthly financing can be arranged if your treatment needs extend far beyond the scope of your dental insurance (or if you have no dental insurance coverage). We request that you make the financial arrangements prior to the day of the procedure. This requires an application through Capital One Dental Finance co. For most people, two types of financing plans are available:
- Interest-free options when all the monthly payments are made within one-year, and
- Interest-bearing plans when financing is extended beyond the first year; it can be extended as much as five years
One major advantage of financing is that it allows you to take care of any pressing dental needs right away. Waiting to take care of any dental problems usually results in more expensive and more involved dental treatment at a later time (including in some instances, teeth loss).
