Achieving the correct and beautiful smile that you see in the media can range from very easy to very difficult. The complexity of a smile involves the shape of your face, the shape and position of your teeth and the color of your teeth. This means that achieving that great smile can include minor tooth movement by an orthodontist, it can include laser reshaping of your gums and finally it will include the intervention of a skilled and experienced clinician to create the right smile for your face.
This doesn't mean that to correct your smile we need all of these services. Whether your smile is easy or difficult to correct, we believe that we can accomplish your aesthetic desires.

Customized Smiles: Several shapes of smiles are available to choose from at Smile Options. Any of the shapes displayed here can be exactly reproduced for you, when placing a set of six veneers of crowns.
Several techniques are available to revitalize your smile and a combination of options may be recommended in some cases:
- Recontouring: Sometimes a simple reshaping of your teeth, especially at the worn or cracked edges of the biting surfaces can be sufficient to bring a dramatic change and youthfulness to your smile.
- Teeth Whitening: This increasingly popular option is almost a must for anyone desiring a beautiful smile and involves Chair-side whitening of teeth and / or At home treatment, wearing whitening trays fitted over your teeth for a period ranging from two weeks up to a few months. The extent to which the teeth whiten varies from individual to individual.
- Bonding: Teeth colored filling material known as composite is bonded to your teeth and shaped and polished; this is a less expensive way to disguise discolored, worn, or misshapen teeth but has a limited lifetime and over a period of time, tends to fall off, chip off, and discolor.
- Veneers: Porcelain veneers are a classic and highly desirable option that allows a customized reconstruction of smile (see smile options). A set of six or more porcelain veneers allow you to fill gaps or change the shape, size, position, angle, and most importantly the shade of your teeth. This is a popular option since it requires lesser reduction (grinding of teeth). Several different brand of porcelain veneers are available including Elite (the most beautiful teeth in the world), Finesse, Empress, SKNY (skinny) veneers, Lumineers, etc. Your dentist can discuss these different options with you.
- No-prep Veneers: So what if nature didn't give you a perfect smile? Now you can get the look you've always wanted with no-preparation veneers. What makes a natural-looking smile more possible than ever before is the innovative technology behind these veneers. They can be made as thin as a contact lens and are translucent enough to look like your real teeth. And, even better, there's no painful fitting because your dentist doesn't need to use a drill or anesthetic to prepare your teeth (in most cases.) In other words, getting a new smile now is... well, something to smile about.
- Porcelain crowns: These crowns are a very useful alternative to veneers and have the same function as veneers; they can be used instead of veneers if the integrity or color of the teeth has been severely compromised because of large size fillings, or metallic posts, or if a tooth is severely broken. Several different brand of porcelain crowns are available including Elite (most beautiful teeth in the world), Finesse, Empress, Procera, Captek, etc. All the porcelain crowns have a beautiful appearance, however, their qualities differ slightly and your dentist will recommend a
- Lumineers: Lumineers® by Cerinate® is a highly marketed brand of veneers and is similar to several other types of veneers available at our office.
